National Three South ever presents
The feat of playing all 26 matches in a season and being an ever
present is one to be proud of nowadays in a competitive league
season at any level. There were nine ever presents in the
division last season playing all 26 matches, four of the players
came from Ealing, wingers Kiba Richards and Owen Bruynseels,
fly half Ben Ward and flanker Jay King,

It is getting towards that time of year when we think about the
club dinner and the awarding of club caps and dates. There are some

The award was made to Dave Essien, who won the award with something
to spare, by President Brendan Kelly. Dave has without doubt had
an outstanding season. I am sure he will be the first to admit it
is a team effort.

Du Rand Director of Youth Rugby
The appointment was announced by Andy Killen, chair of youth, at
a meeting of Youth coaches where Corne outlined his role and

& Flair - Issue 4 out now!
The final issue of Fire & Flair for the 2007/8 season will now be
published to coincide with the final home game of the season against
North Walsham. The deadline for contributions is Monday 31 March.

ELVs – Register Your Views
The International Rugby Board proposes the introduction of
eight new Experimental Law Variations (ELVs) throughout the game
next season. The RFU believes that some of the ELVs could
fundamentally change the nature of the game as it is currently
known and that all those potentially affected by their
introduction should be consulted
