Minis triumph at Middlesex Championship

The new, improved Middlesex Championships were played over the last 3 weekends. Ealing came away with some significant silverware.

Our first prize wasn't for rugby. Ealing, as a club, won the Marie Curie Cancer Care Cup. The Marie Curie people sponsored the festivals and gave the cup for the club that raised most money.

The fact that Ealing was the most generous club speaks volumes for the spirit within this great club. In the rugby world, we also won the Derek Mann Shield. This is awarded for all the competitions except the 'A' Cup.

That is the Barry Boyden Cup, and was won this year by our friends at Teddington. Many congratulations to them.
