Your Club's History

The Executive Committee has given the go ahead for Dick Tyson (London Rugby Historian) to start work on capturing and recording the history of our club. For a club that is 137 years old and one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world, we have in the past failed to devote enough time or resource to record, protect and display our long and illustrious heritage.
Dave Higgins and Les O'Gorman are leading this project and have asked Dick to start work immediately on the project. Dick will be keen to get in touch with any club members who may have information, pictures, publications etc which will help tell our story, he can be contacted at dicktyson@onetel.com or www.dicktyson.co.uk.

Dave and Les will be writing to all club members during the summer to tell you how you can help and support this project - but in the meantime start searching those attics and garden sheds for that club memorabilia!

Also  it is worth mentioning that Dick Tyson has recently completed a major project to capture the history of London's Oldest Rugby Clubs, so we are delighted that we have been able to secure his services.
