Calling all women rugby players!
Are you interested in improving your game, gaining a better
understanding of the laws and understanding why referees do what they
do?
Are you interested in refereeing at some time in the future? Or are
you ready for the challenge of refereeing now?
If you have answered yes
to any of the above, then the Entry Level Referee Award is the right
course for you.
Run by a highly experienced referee trainer, and only
for women, this course will include a look at all elements of the game
from the referee’s point of view, practical sessions to work on the
skills needed by referees and a short test of your knowledge of the
laws.
The two day course for women will take place at the London Welsh
ground at Richmond on Saturday 14th and Saturday 21st June 2008.
You
will be sent a DVD beforehand to prepare for the course, and each day
there will be at least one practising female referee to answer any
questions you might have about the role from a woman’s perspective.
To
book your place on the course, please contact Bob Ockenden on
bobockenden@rfu.com or call him
on 0208 9494420 or 07979797694.
The cost of the course will be met by
the London Society of RFU Referees
