It was great to get back to winning ways last weekend. We hosted Henley at Vallis Way, who were sporting a few familiar faces. There were certainly aspects of the performace that we were disappointed with, we felt we gave them too many soft points, but ultimately we were pleased to come away with five league points, with an exceptional display kicking out of hand from Wardy.

After the match saw the first social event of the season, the Ealing Trailfinders Race Night, and it has to be said that it was a great success. I am not certain of the total profit at the moment but it was a significant amount. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Wardy for organising it all, and many thanks to the sponsors of the Races and the Horse owners.

This week we travel to Worthing who have had a mixed bag of results, but have caused teams some problems. It will certainly be a tough encounter down there. You can be assurred that the squad will be focusing hard this week in anticipation of a good performance,
